My niece Charlotte turned 1 last Friday and we celebrated her big day with a family party on Saturday.

Charlotte has been one of the babies that I captured every three months for her first year of life. I am so glad I did. I will post her birthday pictures this week, but today I want to share her cake pictures. She loved it.

When Charlotte was done, her brother Cooper went at her cake. I won’t name any names on who encouraged him to eat like he was a competitive eater, but tomorrow I will show those pictures.

I am sure you will be seeing lots of Miss Ella over the next year! If my friends and family keep all this baby making up I should be in business for a long time to come.

My girlfriend Nicole and her husband welcomed baby girl #4. Miss Ella Reese weighed in at 7lbs 11oz this morning at 7:53 am. Big sisters Grace, Anna, and Kathryn will be sure to make the blog as they have been in front of my camera for years. I am looking forward to Miss Ella’s newborn session with her family next week.

I was lucky enough to get to meet her this evening and get pictures of Ella at 12 hours old. One of the youngest babies I have been lucky enough to capture. Capturing a baby so new on her birth day! I am so lucky!

I was at Miss Charlotte’s blessing on Saturday and wanted to get a few pictures of her to document the changes since her last photo session at 6 months old.

Charlotte is one of four babies I am following this year. I am putting together a package from newborn to the first birthday. I am lucky enough to document them from birth every three months until their 1st birthday. What a joy it has been. I love watching little ones change. It is unbelievable how much they grow in that first year.

Look at Miss Charlotte, she is a gorgeous baby. I still can’t believe this is the same baby I photographed back in September.

Today I got to meet Ashley from Feigning Fertility

We met through our blogs. I love when the internet collides with real life. Well it turns out Ashley and I have lived in the same town for the past three years. We just met today and in two weeks they are moving close to the town I lived in 5 years ago. What a small world.

I went to do some maternity and family portraits of this awesome family. They were so much fun. I love working with kids they make me work for pictures, but they are so worth it! Julia didn’t stop moving from the time I got there until the time I left. What a great age!

We started inside and took some maternity/tutu pictures. Maternity of Ashley and Tutu pictures of Julia just in case that needed clarification.

Then we decided to head outside for some nature shots.

There is no doubt that Julia is a Daddy’s girl. She just beams when she is around him and lucky for her he is just as in love!

Ashley and Mike, thank you for allowing me to capture your beautiful family!

Super Coop is 2

Super Coop is 2. Well he was 2 in February and I am finally just getting around to blogging it.

Cooper was 3 months old the first time I had a photo shoot with him. He was happy then and continues to be such an incredibly happy little boy. I am always amazed at how much babies grow and change.I am also amazed at the difference two years of photography makes. I am constantly learning and growing as a photographer. What an amazing job I have. I truly love what I do and the people who make what I do so enjoyable.

Here are some pictures of Cooper in May 2008:

These two sisters will be 1 on March 5th. They are too sweet and I was lucky enough to photograph their first birthday portraits.

Meet Bella…

Meet Gabby…

The Girls Together…

They were both so happy. Gabby is fast. She was constantly on the go. At one point the cat got into the mix and the girls were so excited to see her.

Before the shoot was over we got some pictures with the girls and their parents.

They were so much fun to work with and I am really happy I finally got to meet these little beauties and their parents.

Charlotte is one of my platinum babies. A new package I am putting together. Pictures from newborn to their first birthday taken every 3 months. I still can’t believe she is 3 months already. Correction 4 months now. Two weeks ago I got to spend the afternoon with Charlotte, her big brother Cooper and their Mama. Definitely a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Look at the difference. She has grown so much already. I am looking forward to watching her grow this year and her personality to develop.

Of course I had to do a tutu photo. Her mama doesn’t care too much for tutu’s but agreed she does indeed look cute in it. I appreciate her mama allowing me to have so much fun with her.

I am also lucky enough to be her Aunt Kate so I get to see her in a few weeks for her big brothers 2nd birthday!

I went to Kansas at the end of September and met the two newest members of the family. Miss Emma and Miss Abigail. Emma’s Mama & Abigail’s Daddy are sister and brother.  These girls are wonderful and I am so glad I got the chance to meet them.
